I did not stay in the hotel. I did see the cabina from the outside and they seem nice and comfortable. The waterfalls are beautiful but do not visit during August. Because it’s rainy season, the water was brownish and we could not swim because the current was too strong. The weather is hot and humid, normal for the jungle. There is no direct entrance from the highway. You see the sign but have to go in and around several streets and then about 20 minutes on a a gravel road. If you need to buy anything, buy it before leaving the main highway, as there are not many other stops on the way. They charge for anyone 16 and over, $40 pesos each. The use of the palapas is $100 pesos, separate charge. The restroom facilities are clean. The grounds are also kept clean. From Lagos de Montebello the drive is about 2.5 hours. Overall, it was an okay experience.
Really beautiful waterfall and very nice and easy jungle trail to the mirador. I definitely recommend staying here 1 day. Swimming on top of the waterfall is also a great experience .
Beautiful location, well kept spaces and cabins right next to some incredible waterfalls. Truly beautiful, definitely worth staying one or two nights. Service at the restaurant was great and dinner was tasty. Our tour guide (Rube?) was knowledgeable and professional. Service at the front desk was a little lacking, not particularly warm or informative.
Incredibly beautiful place. The turquoise waters are perfectly in temperature. Then watch and walk or climb next to the wild waters going through the jungles. And at night the faeries dancing right in front of your hut.
The best place for hiking and look for nature, the waterfalls and the rivers are amazing, the colors are wonderful and is amazing the view on the top, is and incredible place
We did not stay there, but the place was beautiful and had a long hiking through stairs, small caves, or some called it tunnels. Must have good knees and no underlining conditions because it's not of walking with stairs. Worth the view for those that appreciate nature. Very hot and we went late December. Take alot of water. Overrall beautiful experience.
The site where the resort is built is a paradise. Perhaps the most beautiful waterfall I've seen. The trekking route inside the park is five stars. The hotel itself is nice and the cabins are comfortable. They don't sell alcohol in the restaurant due to religious principles, so be prepared for an unsolicited short rehab.
What a place but be aware that there is no phone signal which means also not internet, perfect for us cos we wanted to disconnect. Download your maps before going and prepare for a bumpy ride. The restaurant is very good and the view is amazing.
